Hey there!

Mariya Boykova is a Production Designer, Set Decorator, and Interior+Props Stylist with over a decade of experience creating thoughtful, visually rich environments for film, commercial, stills, and interiors. She brings an attentive, collaborative energy to every set and space, with a strong instinct for storytelling, texture, and detail.

In 2015, Mariya founded 68 Home, a curated furniture and home goods store in Richmond, VA, driven by her desire to offer affordable, design-forward pieces to her community as well as to use in production work. The shop quickly grew into a creative hub—featuring locally made and vintage goods, rotating monthly art shows, workshops, and pop-ups. She managed every aspect of the business, from sourcing and restoration to photography, marketing, rentals, and artist curation. The store received national acclaim when Domino Magazine named it one of “The 50 Best Vintage Furniture Stores in America.”

In 2022, she shifted her focus entirely back to production and interior design. The film Griffin in Summer, which she production designed, won Best U.S. Narrative at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival, and several campaigns she has designed have earned advertising awards.
Mariya thrives in fast-paced, detail-driven environments. Whether it’s a film, video or stills shoot, or an interior project, she excels at translating ideas into cohesive, elevated visuals—maximizing resources, leading teams with clarity, and ensuring every element feels intentional. Her goal is always the same: create worlds that feel interesting, authentic, and beautifully crafted.
